The working load limit (WLL) is not the same as breaking strength. Use the marked WLL when selecting components, and do not assume a higher breaking strength permits a higher working load.
Verify the cargo weight, adequate load restraint, compatible anchor points, and the rating of every component. Follow the equipment instructions and applicable transport regulations.
Before each use, inspect the webbing for cuts, fraying, heat or abrasion damage, and inspect hooks, stitching and ratchet hardware for defects.
Remove damaged equipment from service. Keep straps clean and dry in storage, avoid sharp edges without protection, and follow the manufacturer’s care instructions.
