Just like the truckers used to tie down cargo easy to connect and lock down a load.

The trucker's standard, I've recently gotten a group of progressively better tie downs. This may be the best and obviously the strongest. I used to work for a construction company one that build highways and other major road work. They often had barriers and other large objects that they trucked into place. The 3300-pound break strength may seem like overkill for the home, but it's great for securing loads safely and quickly. These are perfect for tying down a large motorcycle, a riding mower, or large furniture inside a pickup bed. Other uses might be to help straighten a tall wooden fence as you shore it up or protect large lawn items like outdoor tables and benches from being blown over in a windstorm.Easy to use with double J-hooks and one-and-a-half-inch heavy duty stitched straps. Unlike the old pull type this has an easy-to-use handle to ratchet them in place with some tension to keep the load tied down. Past experience did teach me a caution here. Blocks of dense Styrofoam, rubber, or wood or paper should be placed on the contact point of things like fenders or other things that could be damaged when the straps are tightened. They come with a handy carry box with a fold up handle to store when not in use. Resistant to UV rays that can damage some straps and have multiple stitches to keep from breaking at the hook points or in the middle. Another caution do not strap them over sharp metal objects or sides as too much tension on a sharp surface may cut the straps. This four pack is great for most pickup loads, but if you have a flatbed or something bigger you may need extras. Recommended.

These Straps Proved Themselves When It Actually Mattered

I can personally say these straps are extremely heavy-duty and absolutely worth the money. We haul ATVs and other equipment regularly, so I don’t like taking chances when it comes to tie-down straps. After my experience with these, I have a whole new appreciation for buying quality straps.I had my ATV secured to my trailer with these when someone hit my trailer in an accident. Thankfully, despite the impact, my ATV stayed secured and I didn’t lose it off the trailer. That alone says more about these straps to me than any product description ever could.The straps feel thick and durable, the double J-hooks are substantial, and the ratchets feel strong when tightening everything down. I also really like that they come with an ammo-style storage box because anyone who hauls regularly knows how quickly straps can turn into a tangled mess in the truck or trailer.You never really know how important good tie-down equipment is until something unexpected happens. These were put to a real-world test that I certainly never planned on, and they did their job when I needed them most.For hauling an ATV, motorcycle, or other valuable equipment, I would absolutely spend the money on these again. Five stars from me—they’ve earned it.

nice set of tie downs

Nice set of tie down straps. I'm don't haul stuff for a living, I just need to toe my boat and sometimes a utility trailer with who knows what piled up on it. Having this nice set of straps available proves to be a real help. The over sized ratchet handle is a help. I don't think I'd consider these to be professional grade but they're sure going to be good enough for anything I haul. The straps come in real handy for the boat toe. The utility trailer proved a little more of an issue but that was more with getting everything placed just right and then securing it with the straps so it can't move. If you've never used ratchet tie downs before take a minute and watch a video on the internet about how they work. It will save you a lot of problems before you try to haul something. I took off a star because the plastic ammo box that they come in cracked. I can still use it but who knows for how long.
